WARNING: This article contains possible minor spoilers for Hogwarts Legacy.Ahead of Hogwarts Legacy’s release next month, leaked footage from an accompanying art book has revealed new gameplay details. The footage not only reveals the in-game character screen and the first concept art for the game’s map, but also provides an estimate of how long it will take players to complete the game.
The images were leaked by a Twitter user named bigby, but it’s not entirely clear how the user got hold of the artbook before it was published. But despite this, the images reveal many new Hogwarts Legacy details. According to the leak, Hogwarts Legacy takes around 35 hours to complete the main storyline, while companions look at around 70 hours of gameplay to complete all of the side missions as well.
Alongside the leaked artbook, users have also been suggested to get their hands on the first copies of Hogwarts Legacy. A Reddit thread with more details from the leaker discussed the game’s side quests, characters, and other details. According to leaks, Hogwarts Legacy originally included a Quidditch game mode, but it was abandoned after a year of development.
The leaker also claims that the map has been cut by almost a quarter and certain areas of the map are no longer accessible. Other details like the game’s broom mechanics, puzzles, and more were also detailed in the post. After numerous delays, Hogwarts Legacy will launch on February 10 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Unfortunately, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version of the game won’t be released until April 4th, followed by the Nintendo Switch version on July 25th. Users who purchase a copy of Hogwarts Legacy on PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 will receive exclusive access to the Haunted Hogsmeade Shop questline.
